A Heartfelt Dakal Pung Salamat: Hope & Relief for Pampanga ❤️🌾

We are heartened by the outpouring of support from kababayan from near and far who responded to calls for assistance for the families affected by the flooding in Pampanga.

With their help, many cabalen displaced by the worst flooding to hit the province in recent memory were provided with food, water, and other necessities.

Among those who responded were the Knights of Rizal in New York and Italy; members of the Filipino Communities in the East Coast and Northern Italy; batchmates from Chevalier School, Holy Family Academy, and Holy Angel University; relatives and friends in the Philippines and the United States; and companies like Stem Cell Life and EC Soliman.

Their gesture made possible the initial distribution of more than 3,000 ready to eat meals to victims in evacuation centers or in submerged houses in the past two weeks since the flooding. Their assistance will also allow the distribution of water filtration systems that would provide clean and safe water to those affected.

We worked with the Ripples of Hope Community led by Pruds Garcia of Mekeni Food Corporation and Chef Felix Asuncion of the Pampanga Business Circle and dozens of volunteers who helped make sure the assistance reach those that need it the most.
